The Software Engineering Society of OUSL (SESoc) is the official student community of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). We bridge the gap of distance learning by building a vibrant, connected ecosystem for future tech leaders.
To foster an inclusive community of engineering students by providing educational resources, organizing technical events, and bridging the gap between academia and industry within the context of distance learning.

SESoc is housed within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at OUSL. The department pioneers accessible quality engineering education through the Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE) degree, combining open distance learning with intensive practical training.
